Fast keine Änderung gab es bei den Vorstandswahlen des Ortsverbandes der CSU Tuntenhausen im Gasthof Schmid. Lediglich bei den Beisitzern gibt es 2 Veränderungen. So steht Michael Meier aus Dettendorf für weiter 2 Jahre an der Spitze des Ortsverbandes. Seine Stellvertreter bleiben Franz Reil und Stefan Englhart. Nach dem Jahresbericht des Vorstandes und des Kassenberichts, der wieder recht positiv ausgefallen war, konnten auch die beiden Kassenprüfer die Entlastung der Vorstandschaft empfehlen. Nach einer kurzen Aussprache zu den Berichten und der Entlastung der Vorstandschaft übernahm dann Otto Lederer als Vorsitzender des Wahlausschusses die Durchführung der Wahl, die folgende weitere Ergebnisse brachte: Schatzmeisterin bleibt Lydia Haas, Schriftführerin ist weiterhin Regina Gaar und als Beisitzer wurden Otto Lederer, Hans-Jürgen Thiel, Georg Weigl, Johannes Stürzer, Johannes Ehberger, Johann
Kaltner, Siegfried Franke, Otto Lösch und Klaus Lechner gewählt. Die Delegierten zur Kreisvertreterversammlung sind Michael Meier, Otto Lederer, Georg Weigl, Franz Reil, Stefan Englhart, Johann Stürzer und Hans-Jürgen Thiel. Auch die beiden Kassenprüfer Gabriele Krichbaumer und Josef Merk wurden in Ihren Ämtern bestätigt. Nach der Wahl wurden dann noch Hans Englhart für 20 Jahre Mitgliedschaft und Gabriele Krichbaumer und Rita Niedermeier für 40-jährigre Mitgliedschaft geehrt. Die Zeit des Auszählens nutzte MdL Otto Lederer zu der Frage ‘Ist Europa unsere Zukunft ?‘ wobei er ernüchternde Daten präsentierte. So sieht er den Einfluss Europas in der Welt nimmer mehr schwinden. Nicht nur wegen der Bevölkerungsentwicklung wo Europäer im Jahre 1950 noch 20 % der Weltbevölkerung ausmachten. Heute sind es nur mehr 7% du für 2050 werden 5% prognostiziert. Allein das Bevölkerungswachstum in Afrika das laut Prognose bis 2050 um 400 Millionen zunehmen soll, bereiten ihm Sorge. Dabei erreichen die Afrikaner ein Durchschnittsalter von 18 Jahren gegen über Europäern mit 44 Jahren. Verdeutlichen konnte er die Schwäche des derzeitigen Europas anhand der Machtbestrebungen von China (Seidenstrasse), Russland (Krim, Ost- Ukraine) und Amerika (Handelshemmnisse) wie er in anschaulichen Beispielen darlegte. Zum Abschluss rief er eindringlich zur Stärkung eines nicht populistischen sondern eines Europas der Patrioten und der Regionen auf und schloss mit einem Strauß-Zitat: Bayern ist unsere Heimat, Deutschland unser Vaterland und Europa unsere Zukunft. Ein sehr starkes Argument für die unbedingte Teilnahme an der Europawahl am 26. Mai wie Otto Lederer fand.
