Am 29. Oktober 2021 fand die Jahreshauptversammlung der JU mit Neuwahlen in Ostermünchen statt. Erstmalig seit Beginn der Pandemie trafen die Mitglieder wieder in Präsenz zusammen. Die neue Vorstandschaft setzt sich jetzt wie folgt zusammen: Regina Gaar (Vorsitzende), Andreas Terme, Matthias Lechner und Vroni Resch (stv. Vorsitzende), Martin Resch (Kassier), Anna Resch (Schriftführerin) sowie Johannes Kellerer, Kilian Kiemer, Josef Bittner und Stefan Resch (Beisitzer). Erfreulicherweise blieb die Mitgliederzahl über die letzten beiden Jahre trotz etlicher altersbedingter Abgänge konstant.
JU-Kreisvorsitzender Matthias Eggerl berichtete ausführlich über seine Arbeit im Kreistag, insbesondere im Umweltausschuss. So folgte u.a. eine hitzige Diskussion über die künftige Müllentsorgung im Landkreis. Auch über den Brennernordzulauf, über die geschlossene Geburtenstation in Bad Aibling und über die Ansiedlung des Wolfes im Voralpenraum wurde debattiert.
